I tried a "Programs and Features" "Quick Repair"
#Outlook 2016 cannot send this item windows 10#
Outlook for iPhone or Windows 10 Mail) uses my "Microsoft Exchange" account to send mail a copy ends up in the Outlook 2016 "Microsoft Exchange" account on my PC. Very odd.Īnd if any other email client (e.g. Server - but email sent from other mail clients do not have this problem. My account must have become corrupted some how so that only email sent from Outlook 2016 does not get copied to the "Sent Items" folder on the Exchange I have to assume the problem is caused by something on Microsoft's Exchange servers for my mail account.

I upgraded to build 14931 about 3 hours ago. After it was converted to a "Microsoft Exchange" account I have had various problems with syncing folders that could be solved by deleting the account in Outlook 2016 When this mail account was an Exchange ActiveSync account I never had problems with it.

I have deleted the "Microsoft Exchange" account in Outlook 2016 several times and re-set it up. Only this "Microsoft Exchange" account using Outlook 2016 has this problem. I have done a significant amount of testing on Outlook 2016 with other mail accounts: Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Exchange ActiveSync accounts. My mail account is type "Microsoft Exchange" By deleting the account in Outlook 2016 and re-setting it up the missing emails came back. That was right after I noticed that emails in my Inbox for dates July 28 through August 30 were missing. I just noted that this problem started on October 2. I think it was moved sometime in the last 6 months - perhaps more recently - I'm not sure. I do not know when Microsoft moved it to Microsoft Exchange. That email address was an ActiveSync account previously. This is the email address I use to logon to Windows 10. Note: my "Office 365 Home" account email address and my only Microsoft Exchange email address are the same. Or, to be more exact - the Microsoft Exchange server is not putting a copy of sent emails (which come from my Outlook 2016 mail client) in the "Sent Items" folder of the Exchange server. Outlook 2016 is not putting sent emails in the "Sent Items" folder.
